The Tournament

Chile Classic belongs to Web.com PGA Tour. Its fourth edition will be held on March 19-22 at Club de Golf Mapocho in Santiago. We'll have the presence of 144 world-class golfers, the Chilean stars Felipe Aguilar and Benjamin Alvarado, first Chilean to reach the PGA Tour, among others.

The tournament has a purse of US$ 600,000, making it the biggest sporting event in the history of our country. The PGA Tour Web.com was founded, owned and operated by the PGA Tour, and identifies those players who are ready to compete and win in the main stages of the course. In a historic 2013 season for the Tour, the PGA Tour Web.com became the only way to get to the PGA Tour, giving 50 cards per year through its regular season and their four finals.

Three out of four members of the PGA TOUR are ex members of Web.com PGA Tour, who have won more than 400 PGA TOUR titles, including 19 majors ad five The Players. The PGA TOUR, through the efforts of their tournaments, sponsors, players and volunteers, exceeded US$2 billion in charitable donations in January 2014.
